An overtly sauvage nose freely offers up its aromas of plum, warm earth and herbal tea. There is quite a bit of gas present on the reasonably dense flavors though the finish is somewhat attenuated and short. The structure is evident, and I suspect that this built-to-age effort will harmonize in due course. (6/2020)
