The most representative wine of the Castello di Poppiano tradition, a selection of “Chianti Colli Fiorentini” of the best vintages, Riserva is matured in oak casks in the cellar of the Castle. Maturing and Aging in vats, then 18 to 24 months in oak casks for 3-4 months then in bottle for at least 3 months. Dark ruby with slightly garnet hues, complex aromatic impact, full bodied with noticeable tannins, intense but subtle texture, well harmonized with a well tempered alcohol. Pleasant, full balanced finish.
