Wine With Bok - 9.75/10
Muscle and Flesh! Perhaps a strange title for this wine, but let me decipher why. When the wine is chilled, the acidity tension is great, almost metallic or mineral body coupled with a bouquet of metallic substance as well as soft, ripe and warm lemon juice, I really enjoyed the tension of the acidity. When the wine warmed up slowly, another side of the character was revealed: softness, elegance and feminine, this is stunning fleshy content. Perhaps the contrast of the tight muscle and the softness of the flesh were fully revealed in this superb wine. Easily one of the best Puligny Montrachet monopole premier cru label you can find out there, coming from a great vintage! (7/2019)

Burghound - 96 points
A highly restrained nose requires considerable swirling to liberate the beautifully well-layered aromas of mineral reduction, white rose, spice, citrus and a wisp of exotic tea. Like the Pucelles there is excellent richness and detail and much more minerality-suffusing the almost painfully intense finale that is breathtaking in its persistence. This is a gem of a Puligny 1er and in 2016 is a lovely blend of power and finesse. In sum, this is a knockout. *Don't miss! Outstanding* (6/2018)

Vinous - 95 points
Superb floral lift to the aromas of stone and citrus fruits, minerals and smoke. Compellingly silky, even thick, on entry, but with terrific inner-mouth mineral lift shaping and intensifying the wine's lemon and floral flavors. Dense with dry extract, this outstanding 2016 premier cru leaves the salivary glands quivering on the very long, slow-building finish. Ninety percent of these vines are 70 years old, according to Boillot. (9/2018)
