PK CHUA – HEAD EDUCATOR

PK is a certified international wine educator with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET UK). Formally working in the IT industry, he decided to make a big shift to the wine industry and has been actively involved for the past 10 years. He believes that wines should be approachable, festive, and fun. He teaches a range of wine classes on a weekly basis from French to Italian wine and he is known for his informal, infectious, enthusiastic style of teaching

INDRA KUMAR

Indra is no stranger to the food and beverage industry in Singapore. Crowned as Singapore’s Best Sommelier Champion in 2009 and the first Singaporean to compete in the World’s Best Sommelier Competition, Indra has established himself as an individual with many years of experience in the world of wine. He is also a wine judge for Decanter Asia Wine Awards, Indonesia Best Sommelier Competition and China National Sommelier Competition.

GRACE GU

Grace is a passionate wine lover and Diploma holder in WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust). Armed with the prestigious position as Air Sommelier for over 10 years with Singapore Airlines, she now educates and encourages her students to achieve their wine goals and dreams. She is also actively involved in the wine world in events such as wine tastings and speaking to wine producers. Equipped as an internal assessor for WSET and ACTA certified trainer, she spearheads and develops our WSET Level 3 Certification Program.

VALERIE LIM

Valerie, having attained the coveted WSET Level 3 Award in Wines with Distinction and the French Wine Scholar (FWS) with Highest Honours, is motivated to share her passion for wines and guide others towards a greater appreciation and understanding of the captivating world of wines.

DAISUKE KAWAI

In 2010, he settled in Singapore, working as Chef Sommelier at the three-star Michelin restaurant Les Amis and later as the General Manager and Chief Sommelier at Lewin Terrace. In 2015, he established his own venture, La Terre. Surprisingly, his career didn't initially revolve around the wine industry; instead, it was his solid foundation in the restaurant and service industry that paved the way for his success. He was crowned Hall of Fame Sommelier of the year by World Gourmet Summit Singapore in 2013, 2017, 2019 and was Asian’s best sommelier in 2017 by SOPEXA!

ADRIAN GOH

Anointed as Singapore's first Sake Samurai by Japan Sake Brewers Association Junior Council. Adrian began his sake journey in 2013 and has since visited over 100 sake breweries worldwide and educates consumers through seminars, workshops, and food pairings, promoting the rich history and culture of Japanese sake. Adrian also organized the Sake Matsuri Singapore in 2018 and 2019 and has been a judge at the International Wine Challenge Sake Awards since 2017. Certified by multiple sake institutions, he is also a WSET Sake Level 3 educator. In 2019, he was awarded The Future50 - Sake Winner for his contributions to the industry.

JOSHUA KALINAN

An acclaimed wine and sake expert, holding multiple global titles and awards. Originally certified in wine, Joshua's interest in sake blossomed after his Certified Wine Educator exam in Tokyo. He trained under the Sake Sommelier Association in London and became the first Singaporean to win the Sake Sommelier of the Year title in 2018. Joshua is also a Master Sake Sommelier, an influential beverage expert, and a sought-after speaker and writer. He frequently collaborates with international organizations and tourism boards, promoting sake, whisky, and other beverages through media appearances and articles.

JAMIE XIAO

Jamie brings over fifteen years of distinguished service as an Air Sommelier with Singapore Airlines, where she mastered the art of delivering exceptional wine experiences at 30,000 feet. Her journey in the world of fine wines took a new turn in 2021 when she transitioned to the wine industry as the Commercial Manager at First Growth Asia, one of the region's premier wine distributors.

Driven by an insatiable passion for wine, Jamie sought to deepen her expertise, earning the prestigious WSET Level 3 qualification with Distinctions and achieving WSET Level 4 with Merit. In addition to her impressive wine credentials, she is an ACLP-certified trainer, equipping her with the skills to educate and inspire others in their wine journey.
