A similar nose of floral and citrus that has more emphasis on minerality continues onto the textured, intense and saline-suffused flavors that possess imposing size and weight while culminating in a detailed, concentrated and mouth coating finish. Medium green-tinged yellow. Quince, ginger, white pepper and a whiff of stone fruits on the nose, along with a bit of toasty reduction. Quite rich in the mouth but dry and classic, with subtle notes of fruits, minerals and honey. This very brisk, closed wine is clenched today yet dusts the entire palate on the fine-grained, long finish. (7/2010)
