A classic Corton-Charlemagne with lifted floral notes and toasted nuts adding to the wine's complex flavour profile. Wonderful depth and weight with a long finish. (7/2022)

The 2011 Corton-Charlemagne has no difficulties keeping pace with the fine 2012, as this wine is another outstanding example of its vintage, wafting from the glass in a mix of delicious apples, pears, chalky soil tones, acacia blossoms and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, young and powerfully built, with a more reserved personality than the 2012, a fine core, brisk acids and a very long, youthful and classy finish. Another absolutely superb vintage of this wine. (3/2014)

The 2011 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is just starting to drink well. Fresh and mineral, the 2011 also looks to have plenty of life ahead of it. Chalk, lemon confit and white flowers all grace this open-knit, curvy Charlemagne. The 2011 has really softened in recent years. Time in the glass brings out the layers in this very pretty and expressive Charlemagne from Bonneau du Martray. (10/2020)
