The last flight of 2011, organizer lineup three of his favorite labels; Henri Boillot’s Batard Montrachet, Jacques Carillon Bienvenues Batard Montrachet and Bouchard Montrachet. Which will be the winner? This was the obvious winner of the flight! A Montrachet that truly lived up to my expectations! The key takeaway was that the wine was big and bold, but it doesn’t feel overpowering at all, the kind of balance I got was truly impressive. I’m fully sold that no other Grand Cru beats it. (5/2017)
