Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Siran slips easily out of the glass with fragrant notes of violets, blackberry pie, fruitcake, blackcurrant pastilles and dried lavender with hints of kirsch and chocolate mint. The medium to full-bodied palate is packed with perfumed black fruit layers, knitted with a solid foundation of firm, fine-grained tannins and tons of freshness, finishing on a lingering mineral note. Punching well above its weight, this is a very impressive showing for Siran! (7/2020)

Outer quote mark Lovely, soft tannins with a juicy and flavorful palate of currants, slightly toasted oak and chocolate. It’s full-bodied and layered with a plush texture and a long, flavorful finish. Warm and rather flamboyant for the vintage. (2/2022)

The 2019 Siran has a very well-defined bouquet of pure black cherry and raspberry fruit, crushed violets and iris petals, and seamlessly integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied, structured and crisp, with fine tannins, impressive delineation and plenty of freshness on the saline finish. One of the best Siran releases in recent years. (2/2022)
