Grapes come from a new vineyard for Boillot, with 60-year-old vines located in a clos contained within the Premier Cru Le Cras, in a south-east facing vineyard on the border with Monthelie. To judge from this, the site ripens fruit well, giving a wine that is buttery and rich, with a classic Meursault nose and a texture that is balanced but dense. (1/2021)
