The vineyards of MJ TRICOT are entrusted to the house of Bouchard Père et Fils, providing the extensive expertise of its winemakers and cellar master to create products of excellence.
Since the Cistercian era, exceptional white wines have been produced on this legendary terroir. Indeed, the appellation goes back to 1098 – the year the famous Cîteaux Abbey was founded. At that time, the monks had a few vines in the commune, and they quickly discovered how to develop their wonderful potential. The nature of the Meursault soils offers exceptional variety. This explains why the different soils of the appellation offer unparalleled diversity and richness, even if orientation towards the sun is mostly homogeneous.
