Wine With Bok - 9/10 Stars
This is a rare red from Chassagne Montrachet made of 100% Pinot Noir, mainly from vines being 45 years of age, from a very small plot of around 1.98 acres, thus production is extremely limited. In my humble opinion, the wine does have it’s unique character and rather addictive. Bouquet of red fruits, with a slight sour nose, reminiscent of young cherries. Palate is with light red fruit, nice to sip upon, with great influence of sour plum taste. A very different taste that’s a breakaway from mainstream burgundy style. (1/2024)
