Based on La Côte, complemented by En Carmentrant, the 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé C. C. is forward and expressive, delivering aromas of orange oil, peach, nutmeg and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny palate that remains lively and dynamic. (10/2023)

A blend of the Cote and Carmentrans vineyards, the "CC" is the most approachable Pouilly Fuisse in the range in 2022. The nose is toasty and flinty, with a top note of vanilla and poached pear. The palate is pure silk, a gentle but persistent acidity guiding plump stone fruits at the core. The smoky undertones offer additional sweetness and complexity, further aiding the approachability of this wine. Give it a year or two in bottle to knit spice and fruit, then enjoy over a decade.
