Wine With Bok - 9/10 Stars
Chateau Mont-Redon has been in the Abeille and Fabre families for four generations. The families own this vineyard which is located in the town of Orange near the edge of the Chateauneuf du Pape appellation. As the name implies, this wine is made of 100% Viognier. Viognier should be enjoyed young, preferably within two years following the harvest. Bouquet with a beautiful fragrance of lemon tree flower, along with baked lemon skin, one can feel this is at its prime drinking window. Palate feels intense, the fruits are powerful and energetic, akin to apricot fruits. A pretty enjoyable wine at this age.
