Valdespino Fino Inocente - 375ml
Valdespino Inocente is a rare single vineyard Fino, made from Palomino Fino grapes sourced from the famous Macharnudo estate. Inocente is the only Fino still fermented in the traditional oak butts (these days most Finos are fermented in tank then aged in cask). Pale straw in color, this wine smells like the inside of a bodega. Damp sand, saline notes, yeast, old wood and coolness (if that can be an aroma). Great minerality and long on the pallet his has intense flavor concentration for a fino. It also undergoes more aging in the solera system than most other finos which explains the intensity and richness of this fino.
