1925 wasn't a memorable year, nothing major happened during that year, was a peaceful year, same as this wine, nothing special, no excitement, and was very weak. Anyway, we really enjoyed the moment of peace that heaven had given us, including Bordeaux vineyards. The bottle was from the chateau, as evidenced by the original wooden box. Nose was of over the hill fruits and musty alcohol notes. Palate even though was alive, was obviously over the hill too. My advice? Don't bother.
