1952 Mascarello Barolo
RED OR WHITE?
This was the most amazing Barolo wine I've ever came across. Needless to say it was a red wine, but whatever happened to the red? Amazingly, the sediments of the wine has settled down to the bottom of bottle, thus discolorizing the wine.
Really unique taste with relatively dry, sherry like taste, almost promegranate and hot!
Also whatever happened to the label? This was a wax sealed bottle that was given to another winemaker by the winemaker himself, thus no label was required.
