1953 Chateau Montrose Saint Estephe
The ullage for this bottle was lousy on low shoulder level. I didn't expect that it's still drinkable but was pleasantly surprised when I uncorked it successfully. Nose is an elegant style with very heavy pinewood. Palette was mellow, elegant, balanced and sweet, the imperfect character for this wine is that it was a bit dirty, not the clean or pure wines, thus my 4 stars only.
