1957 Lynch Bages Pauillac
Another Lynch Bages, another big surprise! 1957 is not considered a good vintage, does not even qualify as a mediocre vintage! Yet Lynch Bages 57 shines again, surprise me on the nose with abundant fruits and no vegetal smell, then the palette was surprisingly good as well with powerful fruits, leather and depth. I really didn't expect this to happen to such a poor vintage. All I can say is that Lynch Bages rocks in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, absolutely stunning!
