I owned 3 bottles of this gem, opened it once in my friend's place, the aroma went through the roof. 2nd bottle was bad. This was my 3rd and last bottle, performed extremely well and won me the right to call for the next theme!
Incense and nose of some dry ice smoke, and wilted flowers, not exactly like the first bottle. But palate was superb, awesomely ripe and round, it was very matured, loads of very complex taste with great depth, extremely flavorful. Easily my best '59 red burg.
