If you follow Parker, he’ll tell you 82 was the greatest vintage. Sorry I think he was wrong by a mile. 82 produced roller coaster wines across Bordeaux, some were top notch, a lot are quite mediocre. On the contrary, 61 was consistent across the board. Even a lesser known label like this La Gaffeliere Naudes was performing way beyond my expectations! I have drank 5 bottles of this gem (refer to my older notes), every single bottle was always a wow!

Red color of average intensity. Fruity, fresh and ripe nose. Caressing on the palate of fruity and fresh type. Developing very tasty, the wine evolves with coated tannins and a lovely violet aroma in its persistence.
