These are the best three vintages of wines produced in Piedmont, and I was so lucky to get to taste all these three vintages tonight. Lets talk about this Borgogno Barolo.
Eekkk! Cat's pee on the nose!
However content was totally different from the nose; very clean wine, almost like drinking a burgundy wine, relatively fresh, slightly sour cherries but so chewy that you think it's a fruit juice. Dried up after 45 mins, showing it couldn't age too much further.
