1964 Pichon Lalande Pauillac
FEMININE Pichon Lalande, one of my all time favorite Bordeaux, did not fail to impress me for this 1964 vintage. I loved the nose indefinitely, extremely elegant, very feminine, imagine a Parisian stylishly and elegantly dressed. Body was similarly impressive, again the extreme elegance popped up, the fruits are still sustaining although the slightly elevated acidity did notch the stars down to 4.5. Still a great effort, cheers to my favorite label!
