What do you expect when a blind bottle of Madam’s wine showed up on the dining table? If you were unable to tell the stunning content, then you’ll need to drink more wines. As it’s a blind bottle, I was stunned by the nose with huge amount of spearmint, I was puzzled, this normally occurred to legendary Ramonet for his white burgundy, but red burgundy with spearmint? I searched through my whole memory bank and still come up blank on the winemaker. A sip and I confessed I still don’t understand the content, as it was a bit light and dry, however, in a very positive way, I felt it needed time in the glass. Another 15 mins passed, and suddenly the ultra softness and most feminine wine I’ve ever had presented itself like a Grand Finale of red burgundy, perhaps almost at the end of search for the best red burgundy on earth. When I was told who made the wine, I obviously can understand why such a stunning content, it’s hard to have any words for it. Madam is madam.
