1966 Malescot St Exupery Margaux

My second bottle this year and it was vastly different from the first bottle I had. First bottle I had was intoxicating perfume, very Margaux like, but this bottle only smelled of aged mushrooms and definitely no perfume. Well, that’s aged wines growing up at different stages.
Fruits were quite thin, thus the acidity was much more elevated. I decanted it in hope that it’ll improve over time. It certainly did! Turned thicker and acidity mellowed down. Ended up very pleasant, hope to have more
