1967 Cheval Blanc Saint Emilion
I uncorked myself and upon first sip, I am a bit disappointed thinking I may have a bad bottle. Slightly maderized, but within seconds, i also detected that it opens up quickly with air, it was slightly less bad nose already. So I decanted it, true enough, the bad maderization cleared within an hour. What remains, please read my notes of Cheval Blanc Saint Emilion 64, so alike like twin brothers. Too funky to be a Bordeaux wine, more like an American wine to me. Medicinal, port like, big, bold and bitter as well.
