1967 Cos d'Estournel Saint Estephe
WINE OLDER THAN ME...
Was running out of idea on what to drink tonight, so decided to pull out this bottle to try, and trying to hone my uncorking skills for old wine. Obviously the cork broke into 2 pieces. Slightly barnyard nose, decanted without hesitation. Good enough the barnyard nose went away, left with rusty copper coin or rust iron nose. Palette was the same, rusty steely feeling with very dry fruits, and slight orange peel, but the decanting helped woke the fruits up.
