1969 Calon Segur St Estephe
CLASSIC BORDEAUX
If you want a reliable bottle of Bordeaux at reasonable price, I can tell you Calon Segur is extremely reliable, good vintage, bad vintage, it performs as expected! I opened this bottle for my wife's birthday and found that it was extremely pleasant and easy to drink. The only drawback is a slightly elevated acidity which is typical of a 1969 Bordeaux which is a below average vintage. Still, we drank till the last drop! Even my 10 year old daughter was enjoying it!

Elegant and powerful, well done Dark, well concentrated with a nose of plum, black fruit, leather, cigar box and vanilla, strong tannins. Still so classic.
