1970 La Conseillante Pomerol
This is a 4 star Pomerol vintage. Even though its only a 4 star vintage, LC 70 stood up tall with the big guys. Surprisingly well made in my opinion. The aged tertiary flavor is starting to show up, with dried lavender, dried potpourri, but a really beautiful nose. Palette is turning into red fruits and prune, which is surprising because 1998 was still in dark berry stage.
