1970 Vina Real Cosecha Reserve Rioja
I must admit I have never been a big fan of Spanish wines, despite the fact that I hv drank wines like Vega Sicilia and Pingus. Vina Real sprang another surprise to me; it possesses burgundy like nose with fragrance, and in a blind tasting，it would hv been easily confused as burgundy Pinot noir, but the giveaway was time, which turned spicy. Surprisingly pleasant, mellow, sweet and forward on the palette except the lack of dimensions and complexity due to single grape variety.
