1975 Haut Brion Pessac Leognan
WEAK HAUT BRION
I never once mentioned about having a weak Haut Brion, which was one of my favorite first growth. However, this 1975 disappointed and hurt me so much, I was quite upset. Now I can only pray that it was the bottle condition rather than a disappointing vintage! LMHB did very well in 75.
Muted nose with faint cabbage lingering around. The body was weak and lacked flavor, but the secondary character puzzled me a little: still grippy, along with slight sourness, but did open up a bit better.
