1976 Leroy Corton Grand Cru
LEROY in the 70s
This Domaine Leroy in the 70s was not tendered by Lalou Bize Leroy, and thus not as famous as the current Domaine. But its still good to have a taste of history, the bottle is really difficult to get hold of. Sous Bois, forest floor and extremely perfumed nose. The key here on the mouth is the extreme velvety character, coupled with very good sweetness, lovely! This wine can still go on for a decade or more, rich but smooth and easy drinking. That's what good wines are for!
