UPHILL BATTLE
This was by all means a top wine, although like everything else, nothing is perfect. An ex Domaine bottle, it started off really poor, struggling to keep up with its age; acidic, sour, lacked flavor, slightly dirty. However, all it took was 15 min in the glass to open up to become floral, lovely, lively and with stunning freshness at it's peak. Unfortunately good times didn't last long, I found it starting to dry up after it's peak, showing that it cannot improve any further.
