1982 Branaire Ducru Saint Julien
I am having grilled lamb for dinner, so I thought a Saint Julien will be a perfect match. Branaire Ducru didn't disappoint, the fat from lamb gels well with the wine, and beings up the meat's leaner part. The wine is not very fruit intense like other 82, but it had good balance in terms of body, tannin & acidity. One of the best Branaire besides the 59 I drank many years ago (those days no Vivino yet, so no notes).
