1983 Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge

This was probably my most aged Mas de Daumas Gassac I’ve ever drank, but I do very much appreciated the classic style along with the predictable taste. Having tasted some younger vintages like 04, 08 & 11, I find even the aged style was shockingly similar! You don’t get too many such honest winemakers anymore, as they all try to please critics for scores!
