1985 Branaire Ducru Saint Julien
NO HOLDING POWER The first whiff, impressive nose with mocha, coffee, espresso and rich ripe fruits. Body was equally nice to start off: thick, luscious, rich, coffee. However, all these great characters started to fade away merely 15 minutes in the glass, replaced with diluted fruits, acidic and sour. This started off very well but the ending saddened me a bit. Too bad.
