1985 Chateau Latour a Pomerol
The nose was initially very muted, can't even get anything out of it. Slowly it opened up to be slightly smokey and slightly minty. Body was sweet, deep, good length, easy to drink, soft and had s lot of good fruits. However, it didn't last in the glass for too long and turned minty within 20 mins. You'll have to drink it up as I don't think this wine can age much longer despite a good vintage. Latour A Pomerol had past its prime, the days of fabulous 61 & 70 are gone.
