1985 Chateau Palmer Vertical Tasting & Chateau Margaux
I held a Palmer vertical tasting of 70, 82, 85 and 99. It is said to be one of the best in Margaux and that if the 1855 classification is amended; it would be upgraded. But I wanted a challenge, so I decided to include a bottle of 1985 Chateau Margaux, to see if Palmer can defeat a first growth. Or would Chateau Margaux still reign as the top in the Margaux region. Any thoughts?
