1985 J. Vidal Fleury Cote Rotie Brune Et Blonde
Was full of expectations for this bottle (or as a matter of fact any Cote Rotie), but didn't live up to my expectations after tasting it.
Started with cooked herbal medicine nose, although it went off after a while and replaced with cooked fruits and black currant type of character.
Palate was disappointing; dry, skinny, woody, lacked fruits. Talking about fruits, it slowly creeped back after an hour or so, I didn't decant the bottle, maybe that's the mistake.
