1985 Louis Jadot Chevalier Montrachet Les Demoiselles
STARTED OFF GREAT ...
Rarely had a chance to drink Chevalier Montrachet this old, an honor. Started off with very muted nose, slowly evolved into floral, and end up very smokey and cabbage after 45 mins. Fresh, lively and feminine wine, started off very tight, when it relaxes, weakness starts to surface: lacks finesse, does not derive much drinking pleasure, and even aged tobacco starting to show up. Still a great experience!
