1985 Pape Clement Pessac Leognan
SUPERB WINE! Almost my wine of the night till Palmer 85 came along! I couldn't believe Pape Clement was so good in 85! I had the 75 and it blew me away. Now the 85, simply awesome! Extremely rich in fruits on the nose, coupled with very deep dark fruits, and then coffee showed up, slight barnyard. Palette wise, extremely rich, very luscious, voluptuous, to the extent I ran out of vocabulary and then a word popped up beefy. Did turn slight downhill a little thereafter though.
