1985 Pierre Andre Aloxe Corton Renardes Grand Cru
From exceptional grand cru hills of Corton, ‘Hills of Miracles’ this wine was beaming in a glass. After 34 years, still showing good fruit cherry, raspberry and some perfume. As with a good Burgundy, this medium body wine showed finesse. Hints of nutty flavour, like hazelnuts and some vanilla notes. Nothing much to complain about as it did its job well
