1986 Cos d'Estournel
Again, intense dark fruits, vanilla and cigar box. The palette is terrifyingly young! Light dark fruits, tannic and acidic. This eternal vintage, when will it come around to be ready to drink? 26 years and not even ready, it can easily last another 30-40 years in my opinion. I can feel the fruits are very hidden, it will take time to reveal its true color, but whether the wine is still in balance over the next few decades I’m not experienced enough to judge.
