FIRST ENCOUNTER PART 2
Today seemed to be an encounter of the first kind over and over again. Been drinking Bordeaux for decades and this is another unknown label to me. This left bank wine is made from bad stones (that’s the meaning of Maucaillou). A pity for the ungifted nature. I can taste some minerals and soil/earth in the body of the wine. Another so so bottle that didn’t have any lasting impression for me.
