1987 Beaulieu Vineyard Georges De Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
I never really know if there is a bad vintage when it comes to US wines as their weather seems more consistent. But this wine just seemed tired and over its peak. Lots of green notes with cedar wood, light red fruits and slight soy sauce on the nose. Palate is very light that it made me think of it as more of a Burgundy than a Cabernet. Tannin is non existent anymore and wine just feels tired.
