1987 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru
LEFLAIVE GRAND CRU TASTING Will be reporting 4 Grand Cru Leflaive blind tasting in a row, to break away those cheap wines. I'm back to normal! Served blind. Nose feels very chrysanthemum, apricot and Sauternes like, and the wine richness only showed when I swivel the wine glass. Palette of very elevated acidity, somehow lacks fruits. Going downhill after a while, my guess was pre 90s. However it does show the elegance of a grand vin despite some age flaws. Nevertheless still very enjoyable.
