1989 Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin Grand Cru
ROUSSEAU'S KING
Obviously this is at the top of Rousseau wine chain, being the king. I reported the Queen Clos de Beze yesterday.
Despite some cork taint, it really didn't bother me a single bit. I think the content was as good as it gets. Powerful, just like the King, but this king is clean, with loads of purity on top of sheer power. Very proper wine, wish I drink this in 25 years time as it's obvious too young. I would have decanted it.
