A night of red burgundies with 3 out of 10 bottles of cork taint was a record for me, not sure if this was a trend for red burgundies as I've never came across such problems with Bordeaux wines. This was borderline as character was prominent.
Nose of paper, dry roses behind paper, as well as nail varnish 15 minutes later. Surprisingly ultra spicy, tinkling at the front of my palate, and very fat wine. Turned much better with lovely sweetness and elegance at later stage, was good.
