1989 Remoissenet Pere & Fils Chambertin Clos De Bèze Grand Cru
REMOISSENET WAS GREAT
In the past, Remoissenet produced really great red burgundies. I have countless great bottles from this producer, be it a Grands Echezeaux 85 or an Echezeaux 90, always setting the benchmark. Same for this bottle, makes the same flight's Hubert Lignier CdlR 88 and Leroy Le Boudots 93 pale. I liked the fresh strawberry field nose. The palette was slightly sour and dry, but the charm was that it was a clean wine, in a sense pure. Good effort.
