1990 Dominique Laurent Chambertin Grand Cru
DIFFERENT LEAGUE
There were 3 Chambertin from different makers tonight, and this Dominique Laurent's Chambertin was obviously not in the same league as the other two that I reported recently. I'd say it's a really low grade Chambertin, despite coming from a good vintage.
Nose of cotton candy, how exciting?
Very light body, easy to drink, chewy and not much complexity. Totally unexpected of a Chambertin which normally are big, bold and ultra complex.
