1990 Dominus Estate
The bottle was served double blind. As the theme was 1990 from anywhere around the world, my fussy nose told me it was Bordeaux (strong capsicum and bell pepper), but the palette didn't taste like Bordeaux: stem of the grapes, leafy, and the giveaway was the diluted content of the wine. I was totally not persuaded it was Bordeaux, I did mention Dominus as a likely candidate but did not persist with my answer. Well, these characters should have given the Dominus clue away already!
